Lille Slyngel in Geilsk Bomuld og uld

Lille Slyngel in Geisk Bomuld og uld

Lille Slyngel (Wrong Side) in Geilsk Bomuld og uld

A scoundrel for little ladies.  This dress is knitted top-down (so you can adjust for length) and from the wrong side (i.e. mostly garter stitches). However, the dress looks cute on both sides. Geilsk Bomuld og uld (55% cotton, 45% wool) shows off the stitch definition beautifully and is incredibly soft and itch-free, perfect for knitwear for kids. The pattern is sized for 2 to 10 year olds.

Boardwalk Vest in Geilsk Tweed

Boardwalk in Geilsk Tweed

Geilsk Tweed is perfect for Brooklyn Tweed patterns. Finally, a yarn that would suit the many lovely designs coming out of Jared Flood’s studios. I already had a particular knit in mind, the gorgeous Boardwalk by Heidi Kirrmaier, a pullover vest with a stunning mitered neckline. In shade #15, a blue/green that evokes winter seas, this sophisticated knit looks great over both a collar shirt for the office or a tee for weekend fun.

Brooklyn Tweed offers many gorgeous pattern from shawls to hats to sweaters that beg to be knit up in this single ply fingering weight yarn. The rich selection of colors means that you will find one that calls to you.
