Cascade Trunk Show & Sale

November Happy Hour (Friday, Nov 2)

Come to the next Happy Stitching Hour on

Friday, November 2, from 5 to 7 pm.

Join us for this social knitting time, meet some new people, re-connect with others, and just hang out. We’ll chat, knit, stitch, wind down after the long work week, and shop this month’s Happy Hour Sale!  We will not be offering any knitting instructions or help, just a knitting visit…. The event is free. First come first serve. We have seats for approximately 15 people. Feel free to bring a snack or drinks to share!

Locally Made Yarn Bowls

We just got a few gorgeous wooden yarn bowls hand crafted by local artists.  These yarn bowls keep your knitting projects neat and organized, and looking as great  in your living room while in progress as when they are finished on you!  These works of art also make great gifts for your knitter friends.

Chemo Caps

Four 2-hour classes; $40 + tax & supplies

For girls and boys ages 10-15.

A wonderful young woman named Julia is work on a bat mitzvah project to spend this year knitting hats for chemo patients.  She’ll be donating her hats to the Cancer Resource Center for distribution.  Together we’ve come up with a great learning opportunity for your tween. Donna is an elementary school teacher who has been leading the knitting club at her school. She will be teaching this class to any level knitter.  We will have a variety of hat patterns for your student to choose from, at various skill levels, and appropriate yarns for purchase at a 15% discount.  Students will be given yarn for their second hat once they have completed their first hat.

The class is $40 for 8 hours of instruction, and materials will be $20-$25 for the first hat.  Julia will be collecting hats and will deliver them to the Cancer Resource Center.  The goal is to collect at least 100 soft, stylish, and practical hats.  Everyone is welcome to turn in hats no need to be a class member!  Are you in?
