Want to play with colors in your knitting? Learn the fair isle technique! Using the wonderful charts in the Colorwork Creations book, you’ll pick a bird to knit into your mittens.  There are many lovely choices, and so many lovely colors to work with.  These are two-color stranded mittens knit in the round using fingering or sock yarn.
