SMC Soft Tweed and Diverso

SMC Soft Tweed and Diverso arrived on Saturday:  Soft, durable, and machine washable, Soft Tweed is great for making children’s knitwear!  It comes in 7 wonderful colors for boys and girls. Don’t have anything in mind? Check out children’s patterns from Knitting Pure and Simple. There are plenty of cute patterns at 4 sts/in to choose!  Diverso is a loosely spun wool, kid mohair, and polyamide blend.  Think kid mohair light and soft. At 3 stitches per inch, It makes wonderfully cozy and fashionable scarves or sweaters quickly. We have all 5 monochromatic colorways in stock!

Knitting Pure & Simple Hat

Three 2-hour classes; $35 + tax & supplies

Using our favorite “Knitting Pure and Simple” patterns, make a baby’s, child’s, woman’s, or man’s hat to keep yourself warm, or in time to gift for the holidays.  This is a great way to learn knitting in the round, tackle double pointed needles for the first time, pick your own edging, optional ear flaps.  This is a perfect for basic class graduates!

Schacht Loom

We finally unpacked and set up our floor model, a 25″ Flip Rigid Heddle Loom.
