Boulder (53% wool, 47% acrylic, 1.1 sts/in), this fall/winter’s new yarn from Tahki, showed up a little early!  This super bulky yarn also comes in super sized balls (77 yards/200 g)! The back of the label has a free pattern for a 1-ball scarf. TahkiStacyCharles.com will have free hat and cowl patterns as well when this yarn launches in the fall. The hard part is choosing which of the four gorgeous colors to knit your super quick and warm scarf, hat, or cowl!

Prism’s new lace yarn Delicato (100% tencel) arrived this week.  Tencel, a plant-based fiber, soaks up brilliant colors like silk which Prism used to show off their stunning colorways.  Tencel also has a nice drape and great stitch definition, perfect for your next lace project!  We have 7 colorways in stock.

Start your Fourth of July weekend with the Happy Stitching Hour on

Join us for this social knitting time, meet some new people, re-connect with others, and just hang out. We’ll chat, knit, gossip, stitch, wind down after the long work week, and shop this month’s Happy Hour Sale! We will not be offering any knitting instructions or help, just a knitting visit…. The event is free. First come first serve. We have seats for approximately 15 people. Feel free to bring a snack or drinks to share!

Laura packaged her garter stitch necklace design “Butin,” with 20 yards of Schaefer Audrey and matching beads, into a handy little kit.  This striking necklace is easy to make (beads are simply slipped up to form the center piece) that you can finish one in a night.  Make one for yourself, for a gift, or gift a kit to your knitting friend!  Several colors are available.

 

Joanne Andersen will be showing different techniques on the Silver Reed LK 150 mid gauge knitting machine from 10 – 1 pm on Saturday April 21. The LK 150 is compact and affordable, and produces rows and rows of knitting with the same time and effort as you hand knit stitches!  Come watch what a knitting machine can do to make your knitting a different experience. Questions welcome.  The event is free!
